Overview

Fur Magic is an ecommerce brand selling pet hair removal products - brushes, rollers, and deshedding tools. The category is competitive, with well-established players that have years of online presence and brand recognition.

Before engaging Omni Eclipse's AEO services, Fur Magic had minimal presence in AI-generated answers. When consumers asked AI assistants about pet hair removal products, Fur Magic was rarely mentioned - despite having a solid product range and an existing, albeit inconsistent, web presence.

The challenge

  • Minimal AI citation. When consumers asked AI assistants "what's the best pet hair remover brush?", Fur Magic was rarely in the answer. Baseline: 2% citation rate, 9% visibility.

  • Established competition. Multiple well-known brands had years of review coverage, backlinks, and domain authority - the traditional signals that should have made them dominant in AI answers too.


The approach

To make Fur Magic the go-to pet hair removal recommendation in AI search, we deployed our proven framework: The AI Visibility Flywheel - a focused, on-site strategy designed to increase the citation rate of their website.

The bigger picture

Fur Magic's results demonstrate what happens when AEO is deployed early in a category - which, right now, describes most categories. Visibility and citation are not the same thing, and in the AI era, citation is what drives consumer decisions.
